Tim McQueeney replaces a valve on a flugel horn at the famous McQueen's instrument repairers and restorers in Pendlebury, Greater Manchester.

One of the last remaining renovators of brass instruments in Britain it has a worldwide reputation for the level of its craftsmanship and expertise.

They recently renovated ten bugles for Her Majesty's Band of the Royal Marines, and overhauling 30y donated brass instruments, which they have serviced, to the 'Saved By Music Foundation' in Uganda, where street children are given free instruments.

All this, and McQueen's recently undertook their regular restoration work on the iconic FA Cup.
