The event can accommodate 15 bands from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset, with each performing a 25-minute own-choice programme in the Exmouth Pavilion. The adjudicator will be the experienced Steve Pritchard-Jones.

Throughout the day the bands will also provide entertainment to the general public with 30-minute concerts in the adjacent Pavilion Gardens.

Kick off

It all kicks-off at 10.00am and will conclude with the presentations made by the Mayor of Exmouth alongside the President of the South West Brass Band Association, Sue Richards.

A spokesperson added: "Weather permitting, we also plan a massed band performance in the gardens, where members of all bands taking part come together.

We are indebted to the Exmouth Town Council and Trevada Music for their generous support of the Festival, and to Leisure East Devon and management and staff of The Pavilion for their assistance in promoting the Festival."
