Fantastic response

NWABBA Chairman Richard Milton told 4BR: "Although we would have liked to have attracted a few more Championship and First Section competitors, we've had a fantastic response from bands in the Second and Third Sections in particular."

The contest will also see the first appearances of Oldham Band (Lees) and Middleton following their National Championship successes at Cheltenham, whilst there will also be challengers making their way from Wales, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
