  Elland youngsters get their lips in trim for their marathon fund raising effort on the weekend

Young players from Elland Silver Youth Band are pictured limbering up for their 12 hour musical 'marathon' on the weekend.

The 2017 European Development Section Champion started playing at 9.00am, with the last note being blown at 9.00pm, as they raised funds to meet the cost of representing England and defend their title at the European Youth Championships in Montreux next year.
