The Enderby Band has announced the signing of three new players as they look towards the Cheltenham First Section National Final.
New players
Talented Royal Birmingham Conservatoire student Charlie Denney takes on the solo trombone role. He comes to the band after enjoying a successful spell with the Staffordshire Band.
Meanwhile, the experienced Andy Mayell takes over on solo euphonium. A former member of Towcester Studio, Kibworth, Redbridge, Rigid Containers, Ransome, Harborough and Jaguar Land Rover, it will be the second time he has donned the Enderby contest jacket.
The third signing is back row cornet player Lewis Read, who has come up through the ranks of the Enderby Junior Band to take his well deserved seat in the senior outfit.
Great additions
Band Chairman, Ian Hayto told 4BR: "These are great additions to the line-up and come with a huge variety of experience.
It's fantastic to see yet another player moving up through the organisation from our Junior and Youth Bands to join the seven other home grown talents in the senior outfit."
