There was an ideal opportunity for bands to enjoy a pre-Regionals run-out at the popular North East Midlands Brass Band Association contest on the weekend.
Area run outs
A large and appreciative audience enjoyed the opportunity too, as bands were able to play the test-pieces they will perform at their respective forthcoming Area contests, whilst the awards in each section were presented by Association President Marie Smith.
The adjudicator was Mark Walters, whilst the NEMBBA thanked Mark Davis from Newstead Brass for the loan the percussion for the event.
