Blackburn & Darwen Band has announced a number of new signings.

Joining the north-west outfit on repiano is former YBS and VBS (Poynton) player Nicola Murray, whilst further additions to the cornet section are Tom Helm and Hattie Nuttall — both from Rossendale Scout Band.

Boosted

Meanwhile, the horn section is boosted by the arrival of Megan Weir, who has played with both Hazel Grove and more recently Pemberton Old Wigan JJB, whilst Kath Taylor comes in from Goodshaw Band.

To complete the list, Anne Taylor joins on flugel horn from Goodshaw where she was previously principal cornet.
