Prescription help boosts Redruth's contest prospects

Financial support from a local pharmacy has helped boost the entertainment contest prospects of Redruth Town Band.

Redruth Town Band has benefited from some prescription help from a local pharmacy group

Redruth Town Band has been helped on their way to entertainment health by taking a welcome prescription of sponsorship support from a local pharmacy.

The band will now head to Exmouth early next month for the town's annual Brass Band Festival boosted by the financial assistance given to them by Day Lewis Pharmacy, which has seen them help provide a revamped band uniform, embroidered shirts, red waistcoats and fleece/waterproof jackets for each member.

Redruth has also been greatly encouraged by their recent appearance at the famous Bugle Festival and have been going from strength to strength under MD, Keith Anderson.

Thanks

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Our thanks got to Day Lewis Pharmacy for their wonderful support, and we have already been rehearsing hard at the band room in preparation to make sure we mark an equally impressive appearance at the contest.

We have chosen a contrasting programme for the Festival with some interesting and entertaining twists for all to enjoy.
