Report & Results: 2017 Elland Silver Band Slow Melody

Young and old produced plenty of fine playing for adjudicator Sandy Smith in Elland.

  There was plenty of great playing from players of all ages at the Elland event.

Elland Silver Band recently held its 28th annual Slow Melody competition, which took place at their rehearsal headquarters and was adjudicated by well known tenor horn star and composer Sandy Smith.

Conductor, Sam Harrison, who helped organise the day told 4BR: "Once again, there was an excellent standard of playing was on show and we would like to thank everyone who helped and supported this year's event."
