Nottingham Trent University Music will play host to one of the world's finest trombonists next month, when Don Lucas will lead a masterclass followed by a concert alongside student brass players.

Renowned

He is the Trombone Professor at Boston University and is one of the most sought after musicians across the USA having given solo performances at Wigmore Hall, JFK Center and the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

He has been the recipient of many awards, including the renowned Premier Prix at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Notably, he is the only brass musician ever to receive the prize.
