4BR has been informed that the funeral of Terry Hill, the much respected cornet player with the Tylorstown Band, who was tragically killed in a recent car accident on his way home from rehearsal will be held on Thursday 14th July at 1.15pm at Coychurch Crematorium, near Bridgend (CF35 6AB).

The 45 year old father of two was a popular member of the band and was an integral part of their rise to contesting prominence over the last few years — including being a proud flugel player in their brace of National title wins.

Over the years he had also played with a number of other south Wales bands and was regarded as a dedicated, committed bandsman who made friends wherever he went.
