Sterling link
Sterling Musical Instruments will once again award the winning band with a special prize of one of their star soloists as guest artist at a future concert. Other local businesses and companies will also support a contest which was founded by David Horsfield of Brighouse Lions in the year 2000 as a special millennium event.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Our thanks go to Blakeley's Fish & Chip restaurant, Kershaw's Garden Centre, No. 43 Coffee House, Webster's Insurance Services, Barclays Bank, Weyland and Yvonne Roberts, Brigitte Matthews and Wetherspoons who have all helped with financial support.
We urge people to also come and support us on Sunday 3rd July and enjoy the first of 26 bands marching off at 1.00pm.
