Foden's Band, currently enjoying a short tour to Holland, has announced that for the first time they will share a concert stage with Foden's Youth Band and their recently formed Foden's Junior Band in an event promoted by Accent Music Education Hub (Warrington).
Massed finale
It will take place on Sunday 5th June at 2.00pm at Parr Hall in Warrington, with each band performing their own sets before joining forces for a celebratory massed finale.
Foden's Youth Band was formed in 2012 as an extension to the youth development work carried out by senior band members. Meeting monthly, it gives young brass and percussion players opportunities to receive expert guidance, perform challenging repertoire and perform at prestigious venues.
They have already performed twice at the RNCM Festival of Brass, as well as at Manchester Cathedral with trumpet star Jens Lindemann, and recently recorded four tracks for Foden's newly released 'Patrons Choice IX' CD.

Junior Band
Accent approached Foden's in 2015 to propose a new Foden's Junior Band. Meeting monthly in Warrington, the new ensemble enables younger musicians from the Warrington and surrounding areas to experience the same expert guidance provided at Youth Band level.
Speaking about the event, Youth Band founder & co-ordinator Ian Raisbeck told 4BR: "It's going to be very exciting to see all three Foden's Bands on stage for the first time.
We have been very fortunate over the past four years that the enthusiasm of our young players, dedication of our tutors and support from our partners have enabled us to drive these projects forward.'
