Masters line-up announced

Fourteen bands will take to the stage to perform Cambridge Variations at the All England Masters International Championship later this month.

The line-up of bands that will take part in the 2016 All England Masters International Championship, sponsored by Yamaha, has been announced.

The contest will take place at The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering on Sunday 29th May, where fourteen competitors will take to the stage to perform Philip Sparke's 'Cambridge Variations'.

Defending champion

Defending champion Virtuosi GUS will be looking to put behind them the disappointment of not qualifying for the British Open as they seek a second win of the season on a test piece that saw them claim the Midlands Regional title in fine style in March.

Brass Band Willebroek makes the trip over from Belgium, whilst the contest has also attracted competitors from Cornwall, Yorkshire, the North East, the North West, London & Southern Counties and the Midlands.

Awards

The post contest entertainment will be provided by The Guards Brass Ensemble, whilst The Masters Dedicated Service Award will be presented to Dave Lea, the popular conductor of the Jaguar Land Rover Band.
