The children of Coalburn Bronze Band were on top form under the baton of MD David Fehilly recently as they entertained a capacity audience at the Auchlochan retirement village in Lesmahagow.

Blaze Away

The children played a wide variety of music — opening with the march 'Blaze Away', before delighted everyone in attendance with then the ever-popular 'Pirates of the Caribbean', 'All Through the Night', 'Londonderry Air' and of course, 'Scotland the Brave'.

Groovy

Tuba soloist Euan Court gave a cracking rendition of 'Bare Necessities' with the band thrilling the residents, parents and supporters with their final items of 'Groovy Kind of Love' and 'La Bamba', which featured the five members of the percussion team, playing an amazing variety of instruments!
