Students at Birmingham Conservatoire are enjoying a visit today from renowned euphonium virtuoso Glenn Van Looy.
Masterclass
The Belgian Geneva Instrument star is giving a performance masterclass and recital as well as adjudicating the prestigious Conservatoire Brass Prize.
Busy week
It heralds a busy week for the students as on Wednesday the flagship brass quintet, Colmore Brass will perform at St John's Smith Square as part of the Conservatoire's London Showcase, whilst Head of Brass Chris Houlding will put the Conservatoire Brass through its paces in the annual Pops Concert featuring music from Superman, Queen, Chicago and West Side Story.
