If you are offered a very nice Yamaha Neo cornet for sale at a price that may be too good to be true, please make a quick check on its serial number — as it may be nicked.

Serial number

The cornet with gold brass bell and numbered — YCR8335G02, Serial number C91228 was pinched in a house burglary in Wimbledon on 9th February.
