Carlton Main announce sponsorship boost

Yorkshire Area champion announces important sponsorship boost ahead of National Finals.

Carlton Main

Yorkshire Area champion Carlton Main Frickley Colliery has received a significant commercial boost following the news that they have secured a three year sponsorship partnership with a major local business.

Commitment and excellence

A N Abrahams Funeral Service of South Elmsall, will now help sponsor the band after being hugely impressed by Carlton Main's commitment and excellence in representing their local community of South Elmsall.

A N Abrahams is part of Funeral Services Partnership, the third largest funeral company in the UK, and part of the company ethos is also to give something back to the local community in which they work.

This sponsorship will not only see support given directly to the band, but it will enable them to work together in raising additional funds for local and national charitable causes.

Highest level

Ray Sykes, Band Chairman told 4BR: "Like the vast majority of bands, competing at the very highest level places a great strain on finances.

We are lucky to be a band full of extremely dedicated and committed people who readily put their hands in their pockets.

However, this help from a local business that shares that pride in representing our community has come at just at the right time and is greatly appreciated."

Proud to help

Kevin Moxon, Area Development Manager added: "Carlton Main is a wonderful community organisation that we are proud to help support.

Everyone at Abraham's wish the band success as we start our link together at the Royal Albert Hall on the weekend."
