Scotland enhances web presence for Europeans

A new website will enable brass band lovers to gain all the information they need about the 2014 European Festival of Brass.

Europeans

The Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA) has announced the launch of a new website for the European Festival of Brass 2014.

Information

The new web presence will offer a wealth of information about the country wide celebration of brass music which takes place next year.
SBBA Press & Publicity Officer, Clair Tomalin, told 4BR:

"With a striking design and easy navigation, the new site offers visitors a wide variety of information, an interactive calendar and location map and regularly updated information regarding the festival and its centrepiece European Brass Band Championship in Perth."

World wide

Clair added: "The website is a welcome addition to our information channels and will hopefully engage online visitors across the world – encouraging them to come and enjoy the largest festival of its kind in Europe."

Access

She concluded: "The site will continue to grow over the coming months as the festival approaches.

By providing this central information point about all the festival’s events, we aim to offer easy access to information on all performances across the country as well as tying in with the promotional work that is taking place in conjunction with VisitScotland, Homecoming Scotland 2014 and other similar national organisations."
