The Midlands Regional Championship committee has announced the line-up of adjudicators for its 2027 Area contest to be held at Bedworth Civic Hall and the United Church Theatre on the weekend of Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March.

Experience

The experienced pairing of David Roberts and David Hirst will judge the Championship Section. The Rothwell Temperance MD returns to the event as a judge for the first time since 2016, whilst David makes his seventh appearance in the box, and the third time in the top-section.

David Roberts will be joined by Annie Crookston in the First Section, as the Scottish conductor returns for the first time since 2023, whilst Craig Ratcliffe makes his Area debut alongside David Hirst in the Second Section.

Anne will be partnered with the experienced conductor Cliff Parker, who makes his first Area adjudication appearance in the Third Section. He will also judge the Fourth Section with composer and conductor Christopher Bond, who makes his first Midlands Area appearance in the box.
