Following the recent announcement of Jonathan Bates as their new solo horn player, Black Dyke has today confirmed that Helen Varley will take over the vacant first horn role at the end of October.
Commitments
Helen will conclude her commitments as solo horn with Hammonds Saltaire before joining the Queensbury band.
The Bradford born player was originally taught by James Shepherd and has recently also been playing with the iconic group.
