There is sure to be plenty of fine music making on show at Bridgewater Hall on Saturday, when Hepworth, the National Children’s Brass Band of Great Britain, Brighouse & Rastrick Band, Foden’s and Black Dyke provide the entertainment at the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival.

Trombonist Peter Moore, the former BBC Young Musician of the Year, will be the featured soloist with Hepworth Band when they perform the opening concert at midday. Peter will perform Gordon
Langford’s ‘Rhapsody for Trombone’ and ‘Bolivar’ by Eric Cook.
Meanwhile, Black Dyke Band, have released details of their programme for the Gala Concert at 7.15pm under the direction of Dr Robert Childs. The first half music making is provided by Foden’s.
