City of Cambridge Musical Director Peter Bassano undertook a half an hour live interview on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire yesterday afternoon on the popular Jeremy Sallis Show.

Peter told 4BR: "The engagement came through my old friend Andrew Powell who thought that four newly composed songs were crying out for brass band accompaniment.
Some fifteen years ago Andrew wrote a work, these days rarely performed, that I gave the first performance of with Grimethorpe in Paris, so it will be great to team up with him again."
