There is going to be one heck of a brass explosion at John Packers with the opening of its new bespoke brass salesroom in Taunton.

John Packer Ltd is about to get bigger and better by exploding in size with a superb launch of its new showroom in Taunton.

Not only does it mean a massive increase in the very best instruments on offer to our customers, but the new showroom is dedicated to providing brass players from students to professionals with a bespoke area to try out the world’s great brands from prestigious makers like Bach, Besson, Conn, Courtois, Holton, JP, King, Mauriat, Rath, Schagerl, Schilke, Smith-Watkins, Sterling, Stomvi and Yamaha and many more.

To mark the occasion, we are hosting a special launch event on Saturday 25th May from 9.00am.

Free tuition

Internationally renowned trumpeter Andy Crowley joins the John Packer team for the day and will be on hand to give free 30 minute tuition to individual customers

Whether it’s a query about performing or advice on your technique, Andy’s experience playing on the Last three James Bond movies, as well as backing artists such as Paul McCartney and Tina Turner will be invaluable in improving your approach to playing.

Also on hand for the day is Grenville Moore, one of the brass world’s most respected instrumentalists in both the orchestral and brass band fields.

A professional member of the Yamaha team will be on hand to answer your questions and to discuss the new range, which has been developed in association with Professor David King amongst other leading performers.
