Foden's get the Lions scores

Double champions presented with signed scores of their famous wins in a highly productive workshop day with Lions Youth Brass.

Lions Youth Brass and MD Nigel Birch have just undertaken their latest workshop with stars of the Fodens Band ahead of their appearance at the National Youth Championships of Great Britain in Manchester next month.

Productive

Mark Wilkinson, Richard and Lesley Poole, Mark Bousie, Shaun Farrington, Stewart Baglin and Anthony Mann, led sectional work on the test-piece ‘Tintagel’ by Dennis Wright, before following a buffet lunch provided by parents, Mark Bousie directed a highly productive rehearsal.

Signed copies

During the interval Nigel Birch presented the Foden’s Band with signed copies of the ‘Double’ winning scores from composers Martin Ellerby and Howard Snell, which the young Lions players were told will now be hung with pride at Foden’s bandroom.
