Rogerstone appoint Morton

The experienced Adrian Morton has been appointed the new MD at the Rogerstone Band.

The Rogerstone Band has announced the appointment of its new Musical Director, Adrian Morton.

Highly respected

One of the most highly respected and experienced brass musicians in Wales, Adrian is a former principal cornet of the National Youth Brass Band of Wales, as well as the Parc & Dare Band.

He also had spells with Cory, Sun Life and GUS, whilst as a conductor he has worked with the likes of Tredegar, Parc & Dare, Markham and Tongwynlais as well as a highly successful tenure leading the then Gwent Youth Band.

Interest

He also has an ongoing interest in jazz and big bands, playing with the Dave Barry Big Band on lead trumpet, and is a member of the Welsh Symphonic Brass Ensemble, working regularly with a number of ‘Big Bands’ in South Wales.
