The St Helen's Youth Band has qualified for the Music for Youth event in Birmingham later this year.

The St Helens Youth Brass Band has qualified for the prestigious Music for Youth festival in Birmingham.

Following regional success in Warrington, the band, conducted by Anna Hughes-Williams, recently found out they had qualified to play in Birmingham on 6th July.

Spokesperson Sheila Hibbard told 4BR: "The band have worked very hard to get this far, and we are all extremely proud of their efforts".
