New entry requirements for Spring Festival

If you want to get into the Spring Festival at the Winter Gardens this year, then make sure you look for the famous sign...

The organisers of the Spring Festival, which this year celebrates its 92nd year, have informed 4BR that there are new entry requirements to be used this year.

Famous entrance

The entrance to Winter Gardens on Coronation and Victoria Streets (the one below the famous sign above) will now be used for all supporters and listeners, whilst the bands themselves will continue to use the Adelaide Street entry facilities.

The move will enable quicker access to and from the main areas of the Winter Gardens, whilst enabling the host of brass band traders to be given ample space form their various trade stands and displays.

Better

A spokesperson told 4BR: "With the ticket office on hand and with much more room through to the main Floral Hall and to the auditoriums where the contest are taking place, it offers the public a better way to get in and out of the hall, as well as room to visit the trade stands."
