Number crunchers set for Midlands Area

The Midlands Area to look at proposals for evening out the sections at Bedworth.

4BR has been informed by Midlands Regional Secretary Lesley Bentley that a proposal to allow an evening out of the numbers at the Regional Championship in Bedworth is to be considered.

Proposal

Lesley told 4BR: "Following the Midland Regional Committee meeting on Saturday 24th March, it was agreed that a proposal to allow Regional Committees the ability to promote additional bands to even out the numbers in sections, be presented to the next Forum Meeting."

4BR understands that this request that has been put several times before but on this occasion has gained widespread approval amongst competing bands.
