All trombone roads should head to the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama at the end of the month — and its free.

All roads north of the border will lead to Glasgow on Sunday May 29th for a trombone showcase event featuring the staff and students of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

Spotlight

The event will spotlight artists from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra trombone section, Chris Stearn of Scottish Opera and Simon Johnson of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

Solo and ensemble performances

The afternoon event, kicking of at 1.00pm and finishing at 4.30pm will include solo and ensemble performances, along with short interactive workshops.

Free

All trombonists of any standard are invited to play in the concluding massed blow, for which there will be a brief rehearsal at 12.15.

Entry is by free ticket and all are welcome.
