Composer, James McFadyen is on the hunt to pair up with a librettist to create a brand new anthem for Orchestra and Chorus.

Entry

The finished work will be used as an entry for the Abbey Road Anthem Composing Competition where Eric Whitacre, George Fenton and other judges will select 10 anthems to be recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at the famous Abbey Road Studios.

Outlook

James told 4BR: "I’m eager to write for the Orchestra again to create an anthem which is popular but challenges perceptions and hope to find a librettist with the same outlook."
