Geneva takes over sponsorship of English Nationals

Geneva Musical Instruments has become the new sponsor of the English National Championship.

The British Federation of Brass Bands has announced that Geneva Instruments will become the new sponsor of the 2011 English National Brass Band Championship.

Robert Morgan MBE, Chairman of BFBB told 4BR: "We are extremely grateful to Geneva Instruments for their offer of sponsorship for the 2011 Championship, especially as the event is still over seven months away. This early decision by Geneva gives us an opportunity to develop our plans for the event."

Commenting on behalf of Geneva Instruments, Managing Director, Tim Oldroyd added: "Geneva Instruments is a British company making British instruments and we are therefore pleased to be associated with the English Nationals. We plan to work closely with the BFBB on the future development of the Championships."

Further details of the English Nationals which take place at Preston on 25th June 2011 will be released next week.
