Barnton Silver Band has announced the appointment of Steve Sambell as their new principal euphonium.

MD Brian Lamb told 4BR: "We are delighted to gain the services of a player with Steve's ability and experience. I would also like to thank Gerry Moylan, who has done sterling work during the last year in the top euphonium seat, but has now moved to 2nd euphonium due to pressure of work."
