The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester is to host a Wind & Brass weekend on the 30th & 31st October.

With plenty of attractions for students and lovers of both instrument categories, brass players in particular will be thrilled to know that there will be a host of learning opportunities for keen players — and all free of charge.
Free workshops
On the Saturday there will be a number of workshops led by Les Neish and John Miller as well as session with trombonist Benny Morris of the Halle Orchestra, Liverpool Philharmonic tuba player Robin Haggart.
Lovers of the French Horn will be able to work with Lindsey Stoker, whilst the undoubted star attraction will be trumpet virtuoso Hakan Hardenberger4BR

On the Sunday, one of the brass band movements finest exports will perform when trombonist Peter Moore will play the Buxton Orr ‘Trombone Concerto’.
