Ceramic Brass and their MD Stewart Thompson played host to Staffordshire Band conducted by Steve Pritchard-Jones on the weekend, as the duo joined forces for a concert at Kings Hall in Stoke on Trent.

Coming together

Each band performed separately before coming together for a massed band finale.

Ceramic Brass included items such as ‘Cross of Honour’, ‘Breezin' down Broadway’ and ‘Deep Harmony’, whilst Staffordshire included a varied selection including ‘All Night Long’, ‘Jubilance’, ‘Malaguena’ and the spectacular ‘Hymn of the Highlands’.

The bands were joined by vocalist Sian Forbes, before the evening ended with rousing rendition of ‘The Pines of Rome’.
