The Belmont School Community Arts College in Durham City is looking for brass and percussion delegates for their 4th annual Summer School.
Held from Wednesday, 1st to Friday 3rd of September at the school, people up to the age of 18 are invited to take part in the free 3 day event.

Music Coordinator at the school, Laura Jackson told 4BR: "Each year the course goes from strength to strength. It is wonderful seeing young brass and percussion musicians working hard for three days and enjoying themselves so much.

Laura added: "Opportunities like this are rare, especially in the North East and I am pleased so many young people take advantage of it."
Tutors
Tutors for the course are composer, Bruce Fraser, who will be working with the advanced group, Reg Vardy cornet star Tina Mortimer, who will be working with the intermediate group and local brass specialist Keith Norris who will work with the beginners group.
