This year’s West Lothian Festival of Brass competition is offering an innovative new cash prize.

Audience Prize

A brand new 'West Lothian Audience Prize' will be awarded to the band playing the audience’s favourite piece of music over the three concert festival's in June.

Audiences at each event will be invited to vote for their favourite piece of music, and the one with the most votes will win the £50 prize.

Dinner for two

In addition, all those who have voted will be entered into a prize draw with the winner given tickets for a free 3 course dinner for two in the very plush Bistro at Howden Park Centre.

Competition

The West Lothian Festival of Brass 2010 competition takes place at Howden Park Centre, Livingston.

Newly crowned All England Masters champion Co-operative Funeralcare, Kingdom Brass and Bon Accord Silver will compete in the first semi final on Sunday 6th June.

The second semi final, on Sunday 13th June, features Kirkintilloch, Whitburn and Clackmannan District Brass.

The final will take place on Sunday 27th June.

All events begin at 6.30pm.

June 17 • Our COMMUNITY BAND meet again on Monday (22nd) and we welcome players of all standards to join us for a relaxed,friendly rehearsal with Tea and cake and it’s all free.. Rehearsals are at 11am in our own bandroom playing with us does not effect your band.
