Final preparations are in place for British Bandsman’s coverage of this year’s European Brass Band Championships at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, which it is presenting in association with Yamaha Neo.

All in place

Speaking to 4BR, Editor, Kenneth Crookston, commented: "All our technical arrangements are now in place and we are fully geared up for a really exciting weekend in Linz. It's a great opportunity to enjoy watching a host of great bands as they fight for the biggest title in international banding."

Signed up

He added: "Customers have so far signed up for the coverage from 18 different countries — from Canada to New Zealand, and all the major continental banding nations. There is no compromise on quality and we already performed test transmissions to satisfy the thousands of viewers that we expect to enjoy the event."

Last minute rush

Kenneth Crookston added: "We would urge those thinking about watching to avoid the last-minute rush and sign up in the days before the Championships rather than waiting until Friday or Saturday."

Price

Coverage of the full Championship Section contest and Gala Concert on Friday 30th April and Saturday 1st May is available at a cost of £8.00, with Friday or Saturday coverage priced at £5.00 per day if bought separately.
