The Fife Brass Band Festival will take place on the 24th April in the Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline.
29 bands
A total of 29 bands will be performing concert programmes throughout the day which will provide a wealth and variety of music for both the adjudicators and audience alike.
Easington Colliery and Gt Group Peterlee are making the trip up from England to play and Sanquhar and District Silver Band are making their debut at this contest as a non-contesting band.
Local Fife bands are also represented by Dunfermline Town, Buckhaven & Methil, Lochgelly, Tullis Russell Mills,Dysart and Kingdom Brass.
Enjoyable
The organisers hope that all competitors and supporters have an enjoyable day in Dunfermline.
Alan Fernie is judging Sections 4,3,2 and non-contesting with Archie Hutchison looking after the 1st and Championship Sections.
The contest starts at 9.00am.
