West of England Regional Championships

The list of bands and adjudicators for Torquay next month have been released.

The West of England Regional Committeee has confirmed its line up of bands and adjudicators for the Area Contest on the 13th/14th March.

Numbers up

74 bands are listed to take part at the Riviera Centre in Torquay (same as 2009), with a 10 band Championship Section.

Interest

Interestingly, David Horsfield and newly elected Association of Brass Band Adjudicators Chairman, Stan Lippeatt will adjudicate the Championship Section. Stan is also conducting EYMS at the North of England Championships a week later in Darlington.

David Horsfield and Peter Bassano will judge the First and Third Sections, whilst a welcome vistor from Europe, Jappie Dijkstra will join Peter Bassano in the Second Section and Stan in the Fourth.
