North West Regional Championships

The organisers have released details of the bands and adjudicators for the North West Area contest to be held in Blackpool in March.

Winter Gardens

The North West Regional Committee has confirmed its line up of bands and adjudicators for the Area Contest, which will take place on Sunday 14th March at the Winter Gardens in Blckpool.

Numbers up

A total of 78 bands have entered (up 4 from 2009) with an additional entrant in the Championship Section taking their number up to 12.

Because of the large entry in 3rd and 4th Sections a split draw has been held for these two sections and the bands have been notified of their draw times only.

One judge per section

The North West continues to have one adjudicator per section, with Brian Buckley having the task of separating the bands out in the top section. Barry Thompson (First Section), Roy Roe (Second), Ian Brownbill (Third) and Steve Pritchard-Jones (Fourth) complete the line up of decision makers.
