The Greater Gwent Youth Brass Band Festival is taking place today at Cross Keys — so get along!

The Annual Greater Gwent Youth Brass Bands Festival is taking place at Coleg Gwent, Crosskeys College today (Saturday 30th January).

There are bands from Mid, South and West Wales, Forest of Dean and Gloucestershire, who will be judged by Nigel Seaman and Richard Evans.

Anyone wanting a super day out can listen to sixteen brass band concerts for £3 adults and £2 concessions for the whole day.

Tickets will be available on the day.

Tintwistle Band

March 18 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd euphonium and 2nd baritone player to help complete the team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
