Bands get ready for National Eisteddfod

Welsh bands get ready for their annual television appearance at the National Eisteddfod.

The National Eisteddfod of Wales, the only event that features a live broadcast brass band contest, starts on the 1st August.

The bands competing in the 4th, 3rd, & 2nd Sections on Saturday, 1st of August, and the 1st/Championship Section on Sunday 2nd, will have their performances broadcast live on radio (BBC Radio Cymru), and television (S4C digital – channel 104 or 904 on Sky).

This year, the contests will also be available on the internet, with English commentary.
