National Festival of Music for Youth

National Festival of Music for Youth takes place this coming week in Birmingham.

The National Festival of Music for Youth will place in Birmingham from Monday 6th –Saturday 11th July.

Largest

This is Europe’s largest Youth Music Festival and the Brass Band Festival will be held on Thursday 9th July at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham.

The day is divided into three sections and the Brass Band day starts at 10.30am and finishes at approximately 8.45pm4BR

Full day

The 22 Youth Bands performing throughout the day have been invited to the Festival following performances at 60 Music for Youth Regional Festivals held throughout the UK during February and March, where over sixty youth bands performed.

Harlow Brass Band

November 8 • We have vacancies for CORNETS, TROMBONES, 2ND HORN AND PERCUSSION. We are a welcoming, non contesting band who organising their own Spring and Christmas concerts and enjoy playing at local events throughout the year.


West Wycombe Brass Band

November 8 • West Wycombe Brass Band are looking for players. Horn,Flugel and cornets. Non contesting friendly band with sensible engagement list. Wednesday rehearsal 7.45-9.45pm in own hall. Come along for a blow, all welcome.
