Sterling euphonium artist Mark Glover has just returned from giving a concerto premiere in Taipei, Taiwan.

Euphoria!

Mark performed Singaporean composer, Zaidi Sabtu-Ramli's 'Euphoria!' in Taipei alongside the SBOWE band, conducted by Chwan-Yaw Foo. During the trip Mark had time to teach some upcoming euphonium students and visited the local Sterling dealer, Gloria Music.

This is only the second ever performance of this challenging work with the world premiere given by Mark in Brazil in 2016.

It was a wonderful opportunity to play a fantastic work and I was pleased that the audience and the players certainly enjoyed itMark Glover

Fantastic work

Mark told 4BR: "It was a wonderful opportunity to play a fantastic work and I was pleased that the audience and the players certainly enjoyed it."

The concert also saw Mark release his debut solo CD, 'Hustle'. Recently recorded in Dubai, it contains the piano reduction of the concerto accompaniment along with other new original euphonium music.
