Stars get together for great cause

Some of the top star players in the banding world are getting together for a great cause.

'Celebrity Brass' — featuring players from Grimethorpe, Hepworth (Cookson Homes), Hammonds Saltaire, Fodens, Tredegar, Faireys, Timperley and Pemberton Old (JJB) are getting ready to perform a charity fund-raising concert this Saturday.

Wonderful charities

The concert aims to raise funds for both 'Caring for Life' and the West Yorkshire 'Forget me not' Trust — two charities that are very close to the heart for a number of players in the band.

I felt that bringing together as many top players to help raise funds would be a way to show just how much we value what they doClaire Hudson

Do so much

Claire Hudson told 4BR: "These are two wonderful charities that do so much for the community, and need our support. I have seen first hand what both can do for people, and I felt that bringing together as many top players to help raise funds would be a way to show just how much we value what they do."

Tickets

The concert takes place at 7.30pm at Salendine Nook Baptist Church Huddersfield, this Saturday, under the baton of Ian Porthouse, and tickets for the event are available from Claire on 07878 970213 — or just turn up on the night!
