Heyl Band will bring a touch of the Whit Friday spirit to West Cornwall later this month — all on an open top bus.

The Heyl Band will be going on a whistle stop tour of West Cornwall later this month.

Own march

The band had initially entered a new event called the Cornish Whit Friday marches, but having been cancelled they have decided to hire an open top bus, and do their own Whitsun March instead.

The bus will carry the band from Penzance starting at 10.00am, then into Hayle, Truro, Falmouth, Helston, Pool and finishing in Camborne at about 3.00pm playing both on and off the bus!4BR

Open top

The bus will carry the band from Penzance starting at 10.00am, then into Hayle, Truro, Falmouth, Helston, Pool and finishing in Camborne at about 3.00pm playing both on and off the bus!

The project is the latest venture for the band that later this year will see the return of Grimethorpe Colliery Band and the ISB to play concerts and a trip to Spain in September.
