Brighouse and Rastrick Brass will be doing their best help the Elland Silver Band in raising funds for their new band headquarters later this month.

In a concert advertised on 4BR Classified, the band will be led by Professor David King, in Halifax.

Kathleen Harrison, Band Secretary, told 4BR: "We are delighted that Brighouse and Rastrick said they would like to help the band raise funds towards our new building appeal. This will be a very special concert for us. We are expecting a full house."

Prefab

Elland Silver Band currently owns a prefabricated building in Elland, which has been the bands home for many years. Sadly, the condition of the building has deteriorated over time and the band is now looking to build a new bandroom on the existing site.

Funds raised from this concert will help the band to get one step closer to its ambition.
