New foundations at Darwen

Darwen Brass are making sure of their future by setting up their own learner's group.

Darwen Brass are a local brass band formed in January 2007, and since acquiring their own rehearsal premises in Lower Darwen, have been growing in strength.

Learner group

Now they are forming a Brass Learner's Group and are looking for young (or old!) brass beginners to join a small learner's group.

Place for you

So if you played a brass instrument in the past and want to take it up again, or maybe you have brass lessons at school and want to play in a musical group — this could be the place for you.

The band has a number of brass tutors and music teachers on hand to help, support and offer advice, all of whom are CRB checked.
