4BR Money List

Now that the Regional bun fight is over, its still Redbridge at the top of the 4BR Money List league table.

Money

It has been an exhausting few weeks on the contesting front, but after all the dust has settled and Band Managers have worked out just how much money they had to pay out in conductor’s fees, player’s expenses, bus costs, hotel accomodation and celebratory drinks, the latest 4BR Money List shows the usual early season leaders still very much at the top of the leader board.

Drained...

Bands may have won some money, but you can bet the bank balances have been drained even more…

There may be glory in winning a Regional title, but you don’t get a lot of dosh for your efforts – although the Championship Section qualifiers in Scotland manage to get a few extra quid.

Some movement

There has been some movement however, although Redbridge strengthened their position at the top of the table by picking up an extra £200 by winning at Stevenage.

Hepworth added a few quid in the bank at Bradford to remain in third, whilst BTM jumped up the table from 25th to 8th after picking up a grand at the Welsh Open (although they missed out at the Welsh Area).
Other movers include Oldham (Lees) who move into the top 20 after some notable recent monetary success at Tameside and the Regionals.

Big money

The next raft of big money contest will be the Europeans (where there is quite a bit of Euro to be won) and the trio of Spring Festival contests.

If you think we have missed anyone out in the Money List, please let us know.
